As summer quickly approaches, the music fests come on in full force. It’s a great time to listen to music outdoors, catch a variety of different acts in one place and not to mention, there are so many incredible outdoor venues in the bay, including The Greek Theater, Golden Gate Park and The Shoreline. With the sun going down later, people seem to have more energy to do things including going to night shows around the city. With so many shows going on, which ones do you choose? Here are my top concerts picks for June 2012:

Last week I had the privilege of photographing dub-funk band, FogDub. They choose Ocean Beach for their photo-shoot, as some of their song lyrics are about the 3.5 mile long coastline in San Francisco. The six member band came armed with instruments and plenty of stylish hats. You can catch FogDub playing around the Bay Area including San Francisco and Bolinas.
